HISTORY
The MacKinnon clan is said to be descendant from the royal family of Kenneth MacAlpine, his great grandson was killed by Bruch, King of the Picts in 837. Bruch’s son Fingon (fair-born) was the first MacKinnon. The family were connected with Mull and Skye.
The MacKinnon Hunting tartan contains a mix of green and tan with white.
