HISTORY
The MacCallum clan were followers of Columba and descendant from the ancient kingdom of Dalriada. It is said the MacCallum home lay on the mainland overlooking Iona in Argyll where Columba landed in 561. The earliest documentation to the MacCallum clan is from 1414 when Sir Duncan Campbell of Lochow granted Craignish and the banks of Loch Avich to Reginald MacCallum of Corbatton.
The MacCallum tartan is a well balanced pattenr of blue and green with black and pale yellow stripes.
